Let's not forget, The Big Help Out is all about volunteering …. and as Zoe Lyons said in her interview with the BBC on Sunday   "… you occasionally get overwhelmed with negativity but the simplest thing you can do is to connect with your community and volunteer in some way" 

Thank you Zoe for reminding us of the power of volunteering. We hope that all the charities present, in particular, received interest in their charity and volunteering. Finally, also a huge thank you to all the volunteers without whom the day could not have taken place. We had over 80 volunteers working with us and they were incredible.
