"We are absolutely delighted to be the main sponsor for the 2026 Rotary Family Festival and Big Help Out - a wonderful way for our company to support our charities in Brighton & Hove".
We are extremely grateful to our celebrities for their commitment to the success of this event!

Amanda from Traitors Series 4 - retired Metropolitan Police senior detective from Brighton who competed on season 4 of the UK's The Traitors. A self-described "social chameleon" and lesbian, she was known for a calm, analytical approach but was banished after revealing her professional background to a traitor.

Dr Marc Abraham OBE, or ‘Marc the Vet’ - multi-award-winning veterinary surgeon, author, broadcaster, and animal welfare campaigner, and founder of puppy farm awareness campaign ‘Pup Aid’, and led the successful ‘Lucy’s Law’ campaign in Westminster to ban commercial 3rd party puppy and kitten sellers, e.g. pet shops, making all UK dog and cat breeders accountable.
Dear All
This is a personal thank you from the co-organisers of the Rotary Family Festival including the Big Help Out and Rotary Children’s Fun Day. We have organised this event on behalf of and with the Brighton & Hove Soiree Rotary Club. www.soireerotaryclub.com and couldn’t have achieve this success without everyone’s support – including yours.
We are hugely grateful to each and every one of you for coming along and taking part in the day. And a special thank you to our sponsors and to the volunteers who worked tirelessly ahead of and during the day. Weren’t we lucky with the weather!?!? We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. As a reminder, our club motto is having fun helping people in the community – precisely what this event was about!
The positive feedback has been almost overwhelming and we thank you. We thank you for your confidence is us at a Rotary Club and in the whole purpose of the event, which was to provide footfall for the charity stalls so that they could promote their volunteering needs and opportunities.
There are three things that we would ask of you now:
- That you post about the event, and its success, on social media and if you haven’t already linked with us on social media please do so now.
instagram.com/soireerotaryclub/
linkedin.com/in/brightonandhovesoireerotaryclub/
- Plan to be with us next year – we haven’t booked the date yet, but will very shortly and it is likely to be in June – we will write to you as soon as we know.
- You must have seen quite a lot of our Rotary members this weekend – and did you spot how much fun we were having? We would love it if any of you were interested in joining either as members or your businesses joining as corporate members. We can only expand this event further and support our local charities if we have more members ……. It doesn’t have to be time-consuming, especially if you are working, it is the spirit that counts the most! Just pop me a line if you’d like to learn more about us. We are quite an unusual bunch of people!
And once again, many many thanks from Lyn and myself and of course all our Club.
We will be having a thank you evening for all those who gave their time as day crew, we hope you’ll be able to come. We will send you a formal invitation nearer the time but for the moment please just block 10th September 6.30pm in your diary, at The Hove Club. Thank you.
With best wishes,
Lyn Spencer & Pip Weitz
