Local charities deliver much-needed services and support for people throughout the city.

The Rotary Family Festival is a major opportunity for our Brighton and Hove charities to showcase their activities and volunteering needs and is Rotary's primary reason for organising this event.

The Rotary Family Festival is designed to ensure everyone has a great day whilst showcasing volunteering in the City, and letting the general public know what volunteering possibilities are available.

All profits from the Family festival will be donated to local charities.

We invite you, as a locally based charity, community organisation, small business or wellbeing organisation to be part of Rotary Family Festival supporting The Big Help Out in Hove Park on Sunday 7th June 2026.

We have deliberately chosen the date to herald the beginning of National Volunteering Week: what better date to showcase volunteering?

The Big Help out was initiated by King Charles III to promote volunteering in the UK, and, as a volunteer organisation, we wish to continue this vision.

This page (and the whole website) is being updated all the time so please bookmark it and return to it to see how we are getting along with our plans.

We hope to have many charities stands, together with family fun activities including live music, a dog show, children’s games, and food/drink vans, and a brand new wellbeing hub.

We will advertise the event on TV, radio, papers, local magazines, and of course widely on social media. We are delighted to welcome Together Co to be part of our organisation team: they will be especially supportining our administration and social media adctivities.

We look forward to welcoming you at The Rotary Family Festival supporting The Big Help Out on Sunday 7th June 2026.

Surplus proceeds will go to the Brighton & Hove Soiree Rotary Settlement Registered Charity No. 1138898.
